Basically what is going on is I have a DIV below that contains flash. The DIV has a background image defined in CSS. The DIV's background image displays underneath the Flash video embed and the user would never notice since the flash element looks just like the background. You may see my background briefly as the page loads because I made it different so it would be obvoius that this worked in Google's Preview. Normally the underlying image would be the exact same as the starting point of the Flash element so noone would ever notice it. This should show up for both Google Preview and for non-flash enabled browsers like my iPad.
This isn't spamming, cloaking, or any of that junk. The underlying image is in the spirit of the content being displayed in the flash. It was created specifically to show that this type of thing works and is good for users until Google perfects their instant previews.
