Hey – you’re here!
Sweet! This will be a very easy to understand privacy policy. Please read it because it has a good bit of information for how privacy works online for most sites.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you respond to a survey or fill out a form. We also collect information about how you use our site by employing Google Analytics. Google Analytics tracks your movement within our site, and beyond, with the use of cookies (please see the “Do we use cookies” section of this privacy policy for what “cookies” are). Google has been tracking your web activity from the very first time you visited their search engine, saw one of their display ads, visited one of the many sites owned by Google, used Google Chrome, used Gmail or visited another site that employs Google Analytics. They only share with us anonymous information about your time on our site. If you are part of some data with so few members that you might be personally identified Google automatically anonymizes the information they present to us about your visit in Google Analytics. Your browsing activities beyond our site are not shared with us. Please read up on what Google says they collect and share using Analytics.
When sending a message through our contact form you may be asked for the following:
- Name,
- e-mail address,
- Mailing address,
- Phone number.
How do we use the information you submit?
- To improve our website.
- To improve customer service.
- To respond to your request for information.
Do we honor “Do Not Track” browser requests?
Not directly. Google is the one tracking you so you have to opt out of their tracking separately from a mechanism on our site. Our website does not support or comply with “Do Not Track” requests sent by your browser. If you do not want us to have any information about how to contact you, please do not fill our form. If you do not want Google to track your use of our site please visit this page for Google’s information on opting out of tracking.
Do third parties track your internet usage?
Definitely. We have no agreements enabling third parties (other than Google Analytics) to track any information you submit to us, nor do we willingly share your information with any other company. The NSA and Google will collect whatever they want regardless of your constitutional rights and if you have a problem with that, you’ll have to take it up with them. California requires that we disclose whether “other parties” collect personally identifiable information regarding your “online activities over time and across different websites when a consumer uses the operator’s website or service.” If access this site, you trigger Google Analytics to watch your use. Google will connect the information they know about you within their system with your use of our site and they will do what they want with that information. And they do not want to share it with us. The NSA has injected spyware into every major switch on the internet to monitor internet activity. They have also placed backdoors on your phones and computer systems. This means that the NSA can collect whatever data they want about you and give it to whomever they want with impunity. It’s very likely you are under constant algorithmic surveillance. No tin foil hat here – it’s a fact, jack. Google is so ubiquitous that they are almost as bad. We have no access to any information collected by Google or the NSA, nor is there anything we can do to stop them. We recommend you read and understand your Google Account’s usage agreement regarding this issue, and generally be a good citizen to avoid the ire of the NSA. Remember; there is no privacy on the internet despite the fact that you can access it in your underpants.
Do we use cookies?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
We use cookies provided by Google to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Third party links
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We collect information you submit to us via our online forms. That information includes your name, email address, phone number, Company name and whatever comments you submit in the forms. We do not automatically harvest any personally identifiable information from your computer, nor do we contract any third parties for that purpose. We do not share the information you submit with third parties without your permission. We do not track your activity on our website in any personally-identifiable way. California made us say this in a specific section because they believe their constituents to be too lazy and or dim-witted to discern this from the rest of our privacy policy.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). Our site is intended for use by business professionals seeking Search Engine Optimization or Internet Marketing services or advice. We do not solicit any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. If we should receive any information from someone who is under the age of 18, that information will be deleted to the best of our abilities.
Google Analytics Data
Millions of websites, including SEOMike.com use Google Analytics. We have configured our Google Analytics account to use Google’s Advertising features including Google’s Demographics and Interest Reports as well as Google AdWords Remarketing features.
Google analytics collects information about your visit to our site including;
- How you arrived at our website.
- How long you stay.
- What pages you visit.
- What kind of computer, browser, and operating system you are using.
- On which page you exit our site.
- And much more.
For more information about how Google uses the information they collect about you please visit their Privacy & Terms page. To opt out of Google’s tracking, please visit this page.
What does SEOMike do with the information Google records?
The analytics data that Google collects and shares with us helps us better understand the kind of people that visit our sites and what they do when they visit. This information helps us make decisions for site structure, content, compatibility, and overall user experience.
WE CAN NOT DO NOT AND COLLECT ANY INFORMATION FROM GOOGLE ANALYTICS THAT COULD PERSONALLY IDENTIFY YOU.
All activity on this site falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.
GDPR Compliance
We don’t have any information about you that you don’t submit to us. Google has the info about your gender, race, age, income, browsing habits, fantasies, eating habits, what you will get for Christmas, etc. Allowing Google Analytics to work on our site by allowing their cookies gives us a few data points in analytics that can help us understand who visits our site. All we see is that someone accessed a page at a certain time from a certain country. If we’re lucky we get to know your gender and age-range. We don’t get your name, your social or any other personally identifiable information unless you submit it to us via one of our forms. The only thing opting out of our cookies does is remove a data point that we could use to better understand how people navigate our site. GDPR is a wag-the-dog scenario; you’re not any safer from it. You should see the information your phone collects about you (and your government). No, the only thing GDPR does is make non-EU sites have these absurd warnings. Remember; there is no privacy on the internet.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SEOMike, LLC., its affiliates and its and their respective owners, investors, contractors, officers, directors, members, managers, partners, shareholders, licensors, suppliers, customers, employees, agents, third-party advertisers, technology providers and service providers from and against any loss, damage, cost, or liability (including, reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from or relating in any way to any claim, demand, action or proceeding that arises out of the usage of our website. In plain English: You can’t sue us for anything related to the use of this website, including anything done by a third party via our website (ie., hacking, identity theft, etc.). Furthermore, you will defend us against any and all claims we might be a part of because of your use of our site. It’s highly unlikely anything bad will happen, but you agree that it’s not our fault if it does.
